Today’s Show Me Your Pedalboard entry comes from bass player Dennis and is short and sweet. When you’re constantly gigging, traveling, or moving around less is definitely more, and its definitely more weight off your back. Trust me. Dennis is rocking plenty of Dunlop gear, and for good reason, they’re dope! Let’s take a look at what Dennis is working with:

Dennis’ board starts off into a Dunlop Cry Baby Bass Wah right into a Sansamp Bass Driver DI. Be sure to get a tuner too! Korg, BOSS and TC Electronics got you covered. If you’re more into saving up space on your board and using clip-on tuners, Korg has those as well. Up next is a Way Huge Aqua Puss (also by the guys at Dunlop) into a BOSS BF-3 Flanger. Dennis’ board rounds out into an MXR double team of the MXR Bass Octave Deluxe and MXR Bass Envelope filter.

You got some cool stuff here Dennis, but you might want to consider moving stuff around a bit. I would personally move the Aqua Puss towards the end of the chain, and move the Bass Octave Deluxe and Bass Envelope filter right after the Bass Driver DI. Keep modulation together if you can, and keep octave stuff as close to the signal origin as possible. However, those are just my two cents you might have found something weird by flanging the delay (I wouldn’t do it, but you do you), but you can explore some more sounds by moving pedals before and after each other. Your board also needs some fuzz! Give the Earthquaker Devices Fuzz Master General a shot, or even a classic EHX Big Muff (which are still available).
