Pedals and Effects is proud to welcome to 5Starr Sound Labs, Sasami Ashworth! You may know Sasami from Cherry Glazerr, her work in Film/TV scoring, or running synths and guitar with her solo work. Sasami is an absolute synth wizard, and we were stoked to have her run through some sounds on Pedals and Effects!

First off, Sasami is an incredibly accomplished musician. Sasami went to the Eastwood School of Music for French horn, and she is proficient in guitars, synths and effects! Sasami brought in her Roland synth, and I put together three pedals I swear by, and that I think everyone should get to play through. I brought out the Maestro ring modulator, (shouts out to the TSA for messing up the knobs), the A/DA Flanger the best flanger ever made, and if you know me, you know I brought out my vintage Electro-Harmonix Microsynth. Honorable mention to the Disaster Transport Sr. by Earthquaker Devices which is a mainstay on Sasami's board no matter what project she's working on.

This was such a fun video to shoot and we loved having Sasami in the studio with us. It was amazing to see these effects I have a long history be used do completely new things in a context I'm not familiar with. That's what we're all about here at Pedals and Effects, innovation.
