WMD Geiger Counter and interview
Back in January, I got to interview some great pedal builders after NAMM 2012. This will be part 1 in a series of interviews. I had William from WMD come through and he gave us a walk through on the Geiger Counter Bit Crusher. I have used this pedal on recordings and live and it always makes heads turn. There is nothing that sounds like it. It is a pedal you can use on any instrument or drum tracks or anything that needs crushing.

Awesome video! Is the civilian issue just a “micro” version? And, as far as sound is concerned, are the two (Bit Crusher, Civilian) the same? Thanks so much.
Thanks for this demo, I’ve been hearing good stuff but, cool to hear the specifics and how it sounds on bass.
A Clippers hat?! C’mon Juan, Kobe runs this town!
Love this pedal.. Just ordered one in fact!
It has looots of options, but also a range in which it will work! if you find a use for it on this tour go for it!
on a side note , on some songs i thought you were using this haha
I love how it responds to dead spots on the neck. It’s one of those pedals that is so unpredictable, you never know what it’s going to do next! so tight! Mario
this thing looks wicked, I wonder if the civil use version has the expression pedal input
Anyway, I Loved the tololoche at the right side of the room…
Keep it up Juan!, great site!
loved the video and sound it makes. as a matter of fact I’m getting one today with a bass mod which changes out a cap for bigger capacitance. I’m a bass player myself and this video along with your other one sealed me getting one. I’m also going to use a Boss FV-500H for its expression pedal input…
